Manager Revenue CycleJob Description
- Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson
- Performs tactical planning and carries out strategic plan, while effectively managing staff resources, within budget & quality standards.
- Development and performance management within areas of responsibility, translating the departmental vision into meaningful and effective results.
- Monitor key performance indicators and prepare various status reports for management in order to analyze trends and determine opportunities for improvement to deliver successful results.
- Responsible for daily operations of departmental unit and manages performance of department unit staff utilizing data (KPIs, metrics, etc)
QUALIFICATIONS
Education - Preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Management, Nursing, Business Administration, Health Administration or related field
Experience - Required
- 2 years supervisory experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Required
- Proficient in revenue cycle functions related to coding
- Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving and decision making skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communications
- Must be able to analyze work, set goals, develop plans and utilize time effectively and efficiently
- Experience of Revenue Cycle Systems ( i.e EPIC),
- Strong execution skills
Licenses and Certifications - Preferred
- RHIA - Registered Health Information Administrator - American Health Information Management Association or
- RHIT - Registered Health Information Technician - American Health Information Management Association or
- CPC - Certified Professional Coder - American Academy of Professional Coders or
- CCS - Certified Clinical Supervisor - Pennsylvania Certification Board or
