Summary:
We are currently seeking a Compensation and Planning Manager. We are looking for someone interested in playing a critical role in compensation planning to support Sales and CS comp plan design.
You’ll be part of a team that values excellence and initiative, loves solving complex challenges, and cares about results. Your work will have an immediate and meaningful impact on compensation policy and key decisions that shape our incentive structure and Clio’s growth trajectory. You’ll work with our leadership in Channel, Sales, CS, Finance, Marketing, and to drive our annual planning, quarterly compensation effectiveness reviews, and operational excellence in North America, EMEA, and APAC.
ROLE EXPECTATIONS:

Lead and maintain the GTM compensation and rewards strategy and process.

Lead evaluation and implementation of compensation and commission solution for Sales and CS teams.

Provide expertise on all critical compensation programs and processes such as monthly quota and attainment review cycle, performance management, compensation guidelines.

Lead the annual compensation planning cycle, including budgeting, capacity modeling, communication and execution.

Develop and deliver compensation training and education programs for managers and individual contributors.

Create policy and program documentation to educate quota-carrying employees about Clio’s compensation philosophy.

Lead and support market-based compensation analysis, annual compensation benchmarking, and market research review process.

Enable self-service and automation wherever possible.

Develop compensation models and conduct statistical analysis.

Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify, analyze, and implement data-driven decisions about compensation and spiff structure.

Manage the compensation team of 2 analysts and provide guidance, coaching and development opportunities.

Partner with payroll, finance, legal, sales, and CS stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely data management and reporting.

Working with the RevOps, Finance and Go-to-Market teams, prepare communications related to sales incentive administration guidelines, timelines, program intent and payout appeals.
KEY PERSONAL COMPETENCIES

5+ years experience working in the technology or SaaS industry

Prior experience in evaluation and implementation of communications solutions such as CaptivateIQ, Spiff, Everstage.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Proven ability to develop presentations with strong visual storytelling.

Advanced Excel skills.

Experience with querying data sets (e.g. using SQL/SAQL/SOQL for collecting data from multiple data systems).

Experience in translating measurements into recommendations, and connecting multiple data sources and building dashboards in data visualization tools (CRMA, Looker, Tableau, Google Sheets).

Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques.

The full salary range* for this role is $116,500 to $145,600 to $174,700 CAD..
*We aim to hire all candidates between the minimum and the midpoint of the full salary range. We reserve the midpoint to the maximum of the salary band for internal employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on individual experience and skillset of the candidate. Please note there are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency.
