We are continuously accepting applicationsThe Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing Husqvarna’s U.S. Dealer Sales Channel to drive profitable growth, market share expansion, and dealer success. This role plays a critical part in strengthening Husqvarna’s presence within the Outdoor Power Equipment (OPE) market by developing high-performing sales talent, executing strategic sales initiatives, and building strong, value-driven dealer partnerships.
What You Need to Know
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing regional sales team to consistently achieve or exceed Husqvarna sales, profitability, and market share objectives.
Travel up to 50%, working side by side with Territory Managers and direct reports, from the first sales call of the day to the last, providing hands-on coaching, field leadership, and consistent performance feedback.
Develop and execute regional business and sales plans that align with Husqvarna’s strategic vision, brand positioning, and long-term growth goals within the OPE industry.
Drive consistent execution of Husqvarna sales policies, programs, and best practices across the dealer network.
Maximize dealer and sales team performance by improving product representation, dealer engagement, retail execution, and overall business growth.
Serve as a key liaison between the sales organization and cross-functional partners, ensuring alignment across Marketing, Business Units, Supply Chain, and Finance.
Regularly evaluate Territory Manager and dealer performance using sales data, dealer feedback, field observations, and market insights; identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans.
Partner with Marketing and Business Units to develop and execute dealer programs, promotions, product launches, and competitive response initiatives tailored to the OPE market.
Direct regional sales planning, forecasting, and performance measurement to support accurate reporting and data-driven decision-making.
Coordinate with Huntington Finance and other approved financial partners to support dealer floorplan financing and business development opportunities.
Develop, manage, and control regional operating budgets to ensure financial discipline and return on investment.
What We Are Looking For
5+ years of progressive leadership experience in a senior-level sales role, with responsibility for recruiting, developing, motivating, and leading sales teams in a dealer-based environment.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Proven experience managing independent dealer networks, preferably within the Outdoor Power Equipment, power tool, or related durable goods industry.
Demonstrated success developing and executing strategies that drive incremental revenue growth, profitability, and EBITDA improvement.
Strong understanding of OPE products, dealer business models, retail execution, and seasonal sales dynamics.
Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain top-performing sales talent while building a strong, collaborative team culture.
High level of professionalism, integrity, initiative, and accountability, with a strong customer- and dealer-first mindset.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and recommend actionable business improvements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to sales teams, dealers, and senior leadership.
Collaborative, solutions-oriented leader with strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to influence cross-functional partners.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) at an intermediate to advanced level.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% and work extended hours as required to support dealer and business needs.
The anticipated salary wage range for candidates who will work in Chicago is $102,500.00 to $163,500.00. This position is also eligible for commissions. Typical annual earnings for this position, including commissions, are projected from $153,750.00 to $245,250.00 The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, type and years of experience within the industry, education, etc. Husqvarna is a multi-state employer and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
