The Manager Regional Sales is responsible for leading the new equipment sales team to meet and exceed sales goals. They will create and manage the execution of sales strategies, overseeing the daily sales activity of the team while developing members of the team and recruitment and hiring of additional members as needed. The Senior Sales Director will be responsible for achieving budget for the Sales Department.

Essential Duties:

  • Designs and directs the work of the functional area. Selects, coaches and develops the team, setting objectives that align with company strategy to inspire and motivate the team. Manages organizational talent through performance management, succession planning and development. Designs and directs processes by which team and individual performance are recognized, feedback is consistently delivered and performance is systematically improved.

  • Advising sales representatives on their current deals

  • Review customer activity, anticipate consumer needs and improve customer satisfaction.

  • Establishing and maintaining key customer relationships.

  • Regularly join sales representatives on sales calls.

  • Ensuring the proper use of CRM databases and tools to track performance.

  • Optimizing the sales process and tactics

  • Monitoring market trends and providing regular competitor analysis.

Other Duties as assigned and the following:

  • Building strong and collaborative relationships with other internal stakeholders

  • Locates opportunities to expand client base.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a business or engineering related field

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Sales Leadership position

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience working in a direct selling role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in a business-related field

  • Additional 2 years’ experience in a Director of Sales Position

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques

  • Ability to develop a strong working knowledge of the company’s products, competitive products and the market

  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Great strategic planning, organizational and creative thinking skills with the ability to be hands-on

  • Working knowledge of business enterprise systems (e.g. FieldServio, SAP, ADP, etc.)

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook

Compensation: Energy Systems is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The annual salary for this role based in Fife, WA is $120,400.00 - $180,600.00 USD Annual. This compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. This role is eligible for variable compensation including short term and long-term incentives.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk.  On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
