SALARY RANGE : RM10,000 - RM12,000

A DAY IN A LIFE

As a start-up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve:

• Preparation of monthly Group consolidated financial statements
• Responsible and prompt action in submitting Group Consolidated financial reporting, statutory reporting, audit. Strict adherence to financial reporting standards, and relevant regulatory guidelines
• Implementation of consolidation module and enhances existing consolidation and reporting related processes
• Develop, implement, and maintain accounting and finance policies and procedures for a wide-ranging set of accounting and financial activities including reporting and other corporate policies
• Identify and proactively drive continuous improvement for finance operations of the group
• Keep abreast of listing rules and regulations and other statutory requirements
• Perform periodic review of key business processes to ensure proper controls and procedures are in place, and to seek opportunities for continuous improvements of the country finance
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, statutory bodies, bankers, company secretary, and lawyers for audit/tax/banking/legal matters
• All other ad hoc work assigned as required from time to time

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Accounting and Finance and International qualified accountant such as MIA, ACCA, CPA etc
• A Qualified Accountant with proven successful track record from Big 4 highly preferred
• Well verse with MFRS/IFRS and statutory financial statements requirements
• Self-motivated and analytical mindset with stakeholder management skills will be preferred
• Ability to work under pressure & work in a tight timeline given
• Ability to work as a team with a collaborative management style.
• An organized and meticulous person with good eye for details
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Oracle
