Manager, Realtime DevOps
What you can expect
The Manager of India Realtime DevOps is responsible for overseeing the India Realtime DevOps strategy. Ensuring the seamless integration, migration, and deployment of core meeting products across all platforms. We are looking for a visionary leader who can establish credibility through quality execution and drive their team to success.
About the Team
The Realtime DevOps Team operates the company's complex high traffic, business critical network-based communication systems. They plan, design and implement scalable network solutions between multiple platforms and protocols used by video conference and live stream technologies.
Responsibilities
- Leading, mentoring and growing a high-performing India Realtime DevOps team, fostering a culture of automation, collaboration, and innovation. 
- Providing technical guidance and oversee the implementation of scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure using container orchestration tools. 
- Collaborating with various teams to migrate services and improve cloud meeting services efficiency across multiple environments. 
- Implementing and ensuring adherence to infrastructure as code (IaC) practices, improving deployment processes and identifying cost-saving opportunities. 
- Collaborating on implementing comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems, and drive improvement of incident management processes. 
- Building effective communication channels, ensure adherence to safety and security standards, and conduct regular security audits. 
- Working closely with engineering, product, and QA teams to align goals and priorities, effectively allocating resources and managing team workload. Addressing skill gaps within the team and providing training and development opportunities for continuous improvement. 
What we’re looking for
- Have completed a Bachelor or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field. 
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure, and operations roles, with the majority in DevOps. 
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing DevOps. With experience managing minimum org size of 10 engineers. 
- Have experience with container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker Swarm). 
- Have experience and background in CI/CD pipeline development and management. 
- Have experience with AWS, OCI cloud, and Colo data center, familiar with Linux, bash and shell scripts. 
- Have experience with in CI/CD tools (e.g., ArgosCD, Jenkins, GitLab CI) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible). 
- Have experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog).
