About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager to join our R&D & Government Incentives team in Brisbane.
Our R&D team has established itself as a leading player in the local market, partnering with organisations across agribusiness, manufacturing, software and life sciences to maximise access to government incentives, navigate complex legislation and support innovation-led growth.
As a Manager, you will lead a portfolio of clients, build trusted relationships and deliver high-quality advisory services. You will play a key role in driving client outcomes, supporting the growth of the practice and mentoring junior team members, while continuing to strengthen your leadership and commercial capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead client engagements to identify and optimise tax incentives and government grants based on innovative technology activities
Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service and strategic advice
Interpret and apply relevant legislation to assess eligible R&D activities and expenditure
Act as the main contact for finance and technical stakeholders, ensuring effective information sharing and collaboration
Provide coaching and support to junior team members
Partner with the leadership team to meet practice goals and contribute to business development initiatives
About You
4+ years’ experience in R&D Tax, ideally within a Big 4 or Mid-tier environment
Strong client advisory and relationship management skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively within a team
Comfortable working with technical concepts and translating them for different audiences
