The Role

Position Summary

The role is to lead\support a Non-Functional Engineering team to design and drive performance testing strategies, ensure system scalability and reliability, and deliver actionable insights through effective collaboration and test optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, develop, and implement non-functional testing strategies and plans for a client project.
  • Reviews and approves test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with standards and technology strategy defined earlier.
  • Review, identify and implement suitable testing tools, frameworks, and techniques.
  • Handle collaboration with multi-functional teams to understand the system architecture, and non-functional requirements.
  • Perform, run and overview performance, load, stress, and failover testing.
  • Non-functional test results generation, result interpretation, identify problem areas, and highlight the problems to technical and business collaborators.
  • Ensure issues and risks are communicated to relevant team members promptly.
  • Provide requirements and support for infrastructure, system configuration, and network operations to set up environments for effective testing.
  • Review the performance test scripts created or modified by peers to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Drive the delivery teams to drive the non-functional and performance test optimizations.
  • Research and implement new ways of non-functional and performance testing and recommend system configuration and tuning improvements based on observations
  • Ability to work and contribute in a diverse and multicultural working environment.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
  • Exhibits good knowledge in software quality assurance processes and methodologies
  • 8+ years of experience in None-functional and performance testing with minimum of 4+ experience in leading such team.
  • Good understanding of Infrastructure, Network, Database and resiliency concepts
  • Hands-on experience in load, stress analysis tools to model performance scenarios and analyze scenarios.
  • Experience in Linux & Windows Operating Systems.
  • Expertise in Python, Perl, or Bash scripting.
  • ISTQB Core Advanced Certified or equivalent.
