What You'll Do:
  • Complaint Management & Customer Advocacy
    • Oversee the end-to-end complaint management process using our DOT complaint system.
    • Lead the triage and investigation of all product quality complaints, ensuring timely root cause analysis and effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
    • Manage trend analysis and reporting, escalating critical issues to senior leadership and collaborating with the Customer Satisfaction Team on consumer responses.
  • Product Release & Operations
    • Lead the finished product release program, conducting thorough batch record reviews, investigating deviations, and making final disposition decisions.
    • Partner with Contract Manufacturer (CM) Quality Managers to align on processes, streamline operations, and ensure compliance with Munchkin's standards.
    • Hold CMs accountable for quality and food safety performance.
  • Quality Systems & Continuous Improvement
    • Develop, implement, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve quality system effectiveness.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality Management System (QMS), including updating procedures, work instructions, and forms.
    • Provide training to internal and external partners on quality procedures, record-keeping, and system implementation.
    • Manage quality documentation, including event reports, change controls, hold reports, SOPs, and validation records, ensuring they meet internal and infant formula regulatory requirements.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Support
    • Act as a key participant and support lead in regulatory inspections (e.g., FDA) and third-party audits (e.g., SQF, Kosher, Organic).
    • Ensure all quality programs are compliant with applicable FDA regulations and GFSI standards.

Bring It!
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biological Sciences, or a related scientific field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of quality assurance experience in a food processing, CPG, or pharmaceutical environment.
  • A minimum of 3 years of management experience (supervisory or process/program management).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of FDA regulations (21 CFR) and their practical application in SOP development.
  • Working knowledge of HACCP, Preventive Controls (FSMA), and GFSI-recognized standards.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to leadership.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP and QMS software.
  • Ability to travel 5-10%.

Preferred:
  • Direct experience in the dairy or infant formula industry.
  • HACCP and/or PCQI certifications.
  • Experience with laboratory testing methods and data interpretation.
  • Experience in managing quality for products produced at contract manufacturing sites.

Salary range: $80,000.00 - $143,000.000
