Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and data-driven Manager of Quality Engineering (QE) to lead our QE Tooling team.

This role will focus on leveraging advanced data analytics, developing dashboarding tools, and driving the adoption and enhancement of various QE tools. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with data visualization, particularly with Tableau, and a strong background in managing QE tools such as JIRA, qTest, PLM, and NextGen tool sets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of dashboards and data visualization tools using Tableau to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, create reporting metrics, and enhance QE tooling effectiveness.

• Oversee the configuration, customization, and integration of tooling solutions to meet organizational needs and drive efficiency.

• Analyze quality metrics and trends to support continuous improvement efforts and inform data-driven decision-making within the QE organization.

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all QE tools and dashboards.

• Act as the subject matter expert in data analytics and QE tooling, providing guidance to team members on best practices and tool usage.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QE tooling specialists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).

• 6+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Software Development, or a similar technical field.

• Proven experience with Tableau, including building and maintaining complex dashboards for organizational reporting.

• Strong background in data analytics with the ability to interpret complex data sets and create actionable insights.

• Extensive experience with QE tools including JIRA, qTest, PLM, and NextGen, with a focus on configuration and optimization.

• Proficiency in scripting languages and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset with a focus on process improvement.

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in implementing automated reporting and dashboarding solutions.

• Knowledge of agile methodologies and familiarity with DevOps practices.

• Prior experience in leading a team focused on QE tooling or data analytics.

• Certification in data analytics or quality engineering tools is a plus
