This role, Manager – Pune TEC Site Operations is responsible for providing project and program management support to the Director, Head of PTEC Strategy, Transformation and Governance, across all areas of responsibility within Technology and working with key senior stakeholders in India, the region and globally.

Role Responsibilities

  • Project manage Operating Committee (OC) meetings that that India Product Heads, Support Services Heads, Marketing Head, Finance Head and other India P&L Owners

  • Assist the Director, Head of PTEC Strategy with the ongoing transformation agenda - Location Strategy, People Strategy, Regional/ Global accountability

  • Contributes to the development of strategic initiatives across PTEC i.e. Communities of Practice, Graduate Program, Women in Tech, Returners Program etc.

  • Program manage and govern Site Committee Initiatives including budgeting, spend and forecast, dashboard, reporting and help address blockers/issues

  • Provide project management support on dashboard/scorecards and progress Plan, Manage and execute Programs at Site-wide events

  • Site-wide management, ownership – events, employee activities working with Communications Manager, Site & EUC Team

  • Governance and oversight of day-to-day working of the site in coordination with CRE (Facilities) Manager, Physical Security Manager, EUC (IT)/Network Manager

  • Space and seating arrangements, space utilization, and expansion plans with CRE (Facilities) and SiteOperations, Director, Head of PTEC Strategy

  • Lead the continuing improvement at PTEC level, ensuring compliance to Group and EUC (IT) Policies and Standards

  • Quality input to strategic and annual plans coordinated and provided as required

  • Operates across all levels of management to drive implementation and execution of significant and strategically important projects on behalf of the Leadership

  • Communicate effectively with regular updates, written, verbal and visual

Role Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience with handling site operations.

  • Strong understanding of Western Union structures, processes and objectives

  • High level of drive and motivation to ensure delivery of a broad range of outputs simultaneously across the India Pune Technology Engineering Center

  • Proven ability to articulate complex issues concisely and in simple language to support problem analysis and in recognition of the global remit of this role

  • Outstanding relationship management, collaboration and influencing skills

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels across the Group

  • Strong project management and PMO background with a proven ability to deliver end to end communications, events and branding projects

  • Practical experience of major business transformation activities
