Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Advertising, this position is responsible for expansion and execution of integrated marketing strategies and objectives specifically focused on building market brand awareness that will drive revenue growth.

  • Responsible for creating, selling and presenting cooperative advertising and other promotional programs to new and existing publishers; assist them in selecting which vehicles are best suited to promote their titles to our public and school library markets.
  • Integral to the success is building effective relationships with targeted publishers.
  • Collaborate to build marketing strategies with marketing team.Participate in and contribute marketing perspectives in key meetings.
  • Coordinate and secure title-specific promotional marketing efforts with publishers on each campaign.
  • Organize and develop partnership of specific author/title marketing programs and or product development.
  • Supporting publisher promotional opportunities by developing curriculum focused programs with the end goal of expanding publisher co-op advertising revenue for Brodart.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing.
  • At least five years experience creating marketing and advertising campaigns.
  • Results orientated with recognized success in driving revenue growth.
  • Ability to execute marketing plans targeting school and public library channels.
  • Interest in strategies linked to understanding marketing and customer behavior; self-driven, analytical and creative problem solver, leader and team player, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be comfortable in cooperative advertising sales situations with publisher representatives.
  • Able to clearly explain our promotional programs and how they best fit their needs.
  • Typical home office environment.
  • Some travel requirement for publisher meetings, customers, Brodart corporate office visits and company conventions that could include weekends.
