Position Description: The Proposal Project Manager (PPM) is accountable for the overall request for proposal (RFP) for all pharmacy products for the sales organization. The PPM manages the RFP from receipt through final submission, ultimately ensuring all components of the proposal are submitted accurately and on-time.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Thorough review and understanding of all RFP documents and sales strategy documents
  • Create and maintain overall project timeline
  • Own client-specific data requirements (not repeatable content)
  • Coordinate analysis requests
    • Disruption requests, GeoAccess, Network Disruptions, Clinical Savings and other analysis requests needed
  • RFP assignments to key players within the RFP process (i.e. PCOA, PGA, PW, pricing, etc.)
  • Coordinate all strategy calls, including internal team calls
  • Compile and distribute meeting notes, clearly identify actionable items
  • Communicate overall project health
  • Escalate risks to leadership
  • Cross reference non-standards to RFP requirements and deviations document
  • Submit for sales review and final strategic review
  • Complete project work as assigned accurately and within specified deadlines
  • Complete project close-outs
  • Handle final consultant and/or customer submission
  • Coordinate and manage RFP follow-up requests
  • Additional responsibilities include:
    • Participate in relevant training opportunities that will enhance both individual performance and overall unit performance
    • Assist Sales with finalist support as needed
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience writing RFPs; preferably in PBM or Healthcare
  • Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven solid technical writing skill
  • Proven strategic and Critical thinking skills
  • Proven attention to detail
  • Proven self-starter and ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and keep track of various project pieces

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products; Word, Excel, PowerPoint at a minimum
  • Familiarity with RFPIO or Responsive
