The Project Controls Manager position is responsible for providing project management with Quantity, Earned Value progress, Cost and Cost Forecast information in order to make the best decisions possible to achieve project goals. The Project Controls Manager oversees several key project functions, which require accurate reporting of cost and cost projections, production of timely and accurate data, and delivery of key documentation to field supervision. Information produced under the direction of the Project Controls Manager is typically analyzed with recommendations developed prior to wider communication to project and corporate management.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:
- Development, Analysis, and update of Monthly KPI’s (Maintenance PF, Backlog, Break in work, Scaffold usage,
- Input and Tracking of all FCO’s (Field Change Orders)
- Prepare and submit Weekly, Monthly, & Quarterly reports.
- Prepare, present and attend weekly meetings
- Coordinate and Compile information for small Estimate Proposals
- Assure the integrity of all reported information
- Troubleshooting problem areas with field supervision
- Build & Maintain strong Customer relationships
Required Qualifications:
- This position requires a strong Data management skillset. Import/Export of Data, Advanced Excel Functions, (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, If Then statements etc...) Advanced Excel Charts & Graphs, Power Point.
- Motivated self-starter who relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is to be expected.
- Confident Speaker/Presentation skills for Quarterly review presentations
- Will report to a Site Manager as well as Corporate Regional Controls Manager.
Preferred Qualifications:
- (Preferred: Some familiarity with SAP planning module, MS Access and Power BI)
- (Preferred: Some experience in the construction field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Related Experience (min. years): Some Industry Experience Preferred
