München, DECondé Nast Germany is looking for a curious, hands-on Manager, Programmatic Strategy to join our team in Munich (relocation required).
In this role, you’ll be part of our Global Monetization Strategy team and play a key role in driving the performance and growth of our programmatic advertising business across Western Europe.
You’ll work at the intersection of data, technology, and revenue — turning insights into action and helping shape how we monetize some of the world’s leading media brands.
What You’ll Do
Own and drive ad analytics initiatives to improve revenue, CPMs, and overall performance across programmatic channels
Optimize private marketplace (PMP) deals and open auction setups across multiple SSPs (pricing, targeting, deal structure)
Work closely with Campaign Management, Programmatic Account Management, Ad Product and other teams to implement yield strategies
Build reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses to support data-driven decision making
Run A/B tests and develop quantitative analyses to improve advertising performance
Translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for stakeholders across teams
Continuously deepen your understanding of ad tech platforms, data sources, and digital operations workflows

What You Bring
3–5 years of experience in digital advertising, programmatic, yield management, or analytics
Strong hands-on experience with ad-serving platforms and SSPs (e.g. Google Ad Manager, Magnite, PubMatic)
Solid analytical skills and confidence working with large datasets
Experience with Excel and BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Domo, Qlik)
Ability to communicate complex data in a clear and actionable way
Good understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem
Self-driven, structured, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Fluent German and English
Degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics or a related field (or equivalent experience)
