Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a F-35 Master Planning Integration Manager 3 (Manager Program Planning 3) to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals within our F-35 organization. This leadership role is located onsite in Redondo Beach, California.

This leadership role is an exciting opportunity for a Level 3 senior management position supporting the F-35 program. The manager will oversee the day to day activities for the Master Planning Integration (MPI) Organization on the F-35 program supporting both baseline contract execution as well as change activity, inclusive of Major A/B change requests and Proposals.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Build and maintain a highly motivated and engaged team of planning professionals
Provide direct leadership with independent assessments to the Planning & Integration AND Master Planning managers of the organization
Accountable to meet or exceed the planning expectations across all the Operating Units (OUs) of the program
Sustain and improve MPI tools, artifacts, process documentation, and procedures
Strengthen the organization through develop and deploy strategies, coaching and personnel development, intense focus and ownership of leadership, and ensure discipline and continuous improvement measures
Interact on a daily basis with program leadership and support functions to achieve program and planning goals
Maintain prioritization of MPI and functional teams are aligned to program needs
Ensuring all output is timely, accurate, and coordinated with relevant stakeholders
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and 8 years of related experience as defined below OR a Masters degree and 6 years of related experience as defined below
Related experience includes professional and/or military experience to include a background in project management, quality, program management, business management, global supply chain, engineering, contracts management capture efforts, and/or business management related functions
Must have a minimum of 4 years experience leading a team, process, and/or projects
Must have scheduling or planning experience in Lines of Balance or a similar practice experiences
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in a STEM field
Scheduling experience (Lines of Balances, Integrated Master Schedules)
Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry
Program execution and Functional Management Experience
