Overview:
This position supports the SVP of Corporate Technology Solutions who leads a variety of programs and initiatives including Platform Data Enablement, Global Risk and Compliance and Consumer Data Management. This team is responsible for establishing the technical blueprint to unite data and applications across the customer management backbone to drive a more seamless experience for everyone. They are also responsible for the technology that helps our customers to understand and engage consumers as well as the technology that empowers Mastercard to navigate the growing security, regulatory, and compliance landscape, ensuring we operate safely and securely while simultaneously propelling our business forward.
As the Manager, Program Management, you will be responsible for the execution of technology transformation and overall program management across programs to support the future of Mastercard. You will support and lead initiatives that contribute to Mastercard’s priorities in support of frictionless end to end customer experiences, seamless consumer engagement, and best in class risk management.

Role
Main responsibilities include:
• Enable strategic initiatives and achievement of objectives. Lead special projects, content creation, and the team’s dynamic response across a diverse set of topics. Examples may include: tech imperatives, thought leadership, culture and team building, team narrative development, adhoc leadership needs.
• Lead TECH commitments. Lead this team through cycled commitments and planning tasks. E.g., priorities/objectives, quarterly tech reviews and steercos, investment and resource management, program scorecard tracking, risk tracking, and more.
• Drive effective team organization and communication. Drive content and agenda for leadership meetings and key internal and external executive communications. Improve team knowledge management and documentation. Drive a positive and productive culture.
• Nimbly respond to what the business needs. Execute on urgent needs, be a sounding board for team members, serve as a connection point across programs and for incoming (and outgoing) team requests. Transform raw thoughts into clear and concise communications/instructions.
• Lead program and project management: work across the team and with senior leaders across multiple groups in Mastercard Technology to design processes and/or organize and accelerate delivery, ensuring all teams are delivering in a coordinated and consistent manner and are tracking to timelines and objectives
• Understand the business strategy and design approaches within programs with depth to be credible and effective with teams they work with, competently representing team’s services.

About you
• You are the CEO of your domain; you are highly knowledgeable, reliable, and can drive vision and dive into details and execution as needed
• Sense of urgency and accountability; excel under pressure (e.g., fast turnarounds, leadership visibility)
• Excellent project manager, and can toggle between strategic and tactical/detail-oriented views with a strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage a diverse set of competing needs
• Entrepreneurial mindset: eager to learn about new topics and apply business acumen to drive team value
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across teams and levels
• Standout content/storytelling skills (meetings, email, presentations – including leveraging data)
• Familiarity with technical product management
• Clear understanding of technical architecture and levers to drive efficiency and change
• Passionate about creating a positive, productive culture

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. Purchase, New York: $115,000 - $184,000 USD

Arlington, Virginia: $115,000 - $184,000 USD

O'Fallon, Missouri: $100,000 - $160,000 USD
