Title and Summary
Manager Products & Solutions, Acceptance
As a critical component of Mastercard's Acceptance growth strategy, this role will be the primary Acceptance development contact for driving new acceptance business opportunities and solutions to the markets in the North LAC Division.
The successful candidate will need to be able to evaluate and assess opportunities/projects/initiatives and will work in close partnership with local markets, account managers, business developers, regional teams to identify new leads, initiate customer contact, and build strong deal structures for acquires, merchants , payfacs, aggregators, service providers across the Division.
We are looking for an experienced Acceptance Development Manager with strong leadership and commercial skills, combined with a keen entrepreneurial mindset, to develop and deliver on the acceptance commercialization plans across the Division.
The ideal candidate is passionate about driving and delivering a strategy that results in product growth and scale.
Strong knowledge about Central America markets.
Highly self-motivated, with an ability to negotiate targets and the acceptance business plans with customers next , establish priorities and align execution plans against them to drive the most significant business growth.
Analytical, data driven, with project management skills, along with an ability to orchestrate multi-functional teams and delivery result with a flowless execution.
Role: The selected candidate for this role:
• Seeks out and initiates contact with customers (merchants and PSPs)• Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to achieve the Revenue targets and Market share expansion in the acceptance business. • Consistently updates the sales pipeline on SFDC, maintains customer contact, and closes deals • Works closely with Account Management and Market Development teams in a highly competitive consultative selling environment• Monitors opportunities and regularly keeps leadership apprised of progress and help needed • Leads and participate in sales presentations, RFP responses, business case development, proposals and contract management with effective negotiation skills • Coordinates transitions between sales and implementation teams • Brings the voice of the market back to the implementation team to ensure customer relationship needs are met • Provides subject matter expertise on a specific product or segment of products and identifies product innovation opportunities • Develop a strong understanding of customer needs, customers' product strategy, region conditions, and industry characteristics as they relate to products and platforms offerings.
All About You:
• Strong knowledge of acceptance payments and payment processing; knowledge of fraud & decisioning products a plus • Strong knowledge of the local payment ecosystem and key players in market North LAC Division. • Extensive experience in a sales/commercial environment including direct interaction with customers• Demonstrated expertise and success in achieving sales goals over multiple years and multiple products • Strong executive presence and ability to influence stakeholders • Strategic and Creative mindset, with ability to build win-win deals across multiple parties • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time • Fully bilingual English, Spanish.
