Job Description
As a Quality Engineering Manager, you will lead a multi-campus team of quality engineers focused on driving quality process improvements, standardization, and modern quality methodologies into new product development programs for motor control products. You will partner with Engineering, Product Management, Operations, Business, and Quality teams to ensure quality is designed into products through proactive engagement and the use of Design for Six Sigma (DfSS), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), and Design for Excellence (DfX) methodologies. You will report to the hiring leader within the Quality organization and collaborate with global teams in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
Your Responsibilities:- Lead and develop a multi-campus team of Quality Engineers, including coaching, performance management, and professional development.
- Drive quality process improvements, standardization, and modern quality methods throughout new product introduction projects.
- Ensure product development activities comply with corporate and business-level quality processes and procedures.
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Product Management, Business, Operations, and Quality teams to build quality into product designs.
- Lead initiatives that reduce the cost of poor quality by improving design, manufacturing, and supplier quality capabilities and processes.
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership or management role.
- Experience demonstrating technical leadership capabilities across functional boundaries and organizational levels.
- Experience with the development and implementation of electromechanical hardware systems that meet product certification requirements.
- 5 years of experience in product development.
- Experience in industrial automation product development or related technical areas.
- Experience supporting large-scale system development projects.
- Experience working with global team members across multiple campuses.
- Working knowledge of Design for Six Sigma (DfSS), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), and Design for Excellence (DfX) methodologies.
- Experience in project management as a technical lead, project manager, or combination of both.
