About The Role…

As our first Product Marketer, you will own the go-to-market strategy for product launches, define compelling narratives for both brands and creators, and ensure alignment between product development and customer needs. Reporting directly to our Head of Marketing, this is a high-impact, high-visibility role responsible for building our product marketing function from the ground up and driving adoption and engagement across our platform.


Your Impact to The Role:

  • Drive end-to-end strategy for new product and feature launches
  • Serve as the voice of the customer to shape messaging and product positioning
  • Create sales enablement assets including decks, one-pagers, and FAQs for new launches
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales teams
  • Partner with Marketing to amplify product stories and drive usage and expansion
  • Develop clear, cohesive narratives that connect product features to customer value

  • Collaborating with creative, product, and sales teams to align messaging across channels
  • Helping both creators and brands understand the full value of our platform

What We Are Looking For:

  • 8–10 years in product marketing, product management, or go-to-market strategy roles
  • Experience in a high-growth startup, SaaS, or marketplace environment
  • Skilled in customer research, product positioning, and cross-functional communication
  • Exceptional storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and inform decisions
  • Highly organized, strategic thinker who can execute at speed

Bonus Points:

  • Experience marketing products to both B2B and B2C audiences
  • Background in the creator economy, affiliate marketing, or digital commerce
  • Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Pendo, or Looker
  • Proven track record of launching high-impact features in a startup environment

We note that salary information as a general guideline only, actual compensation may vary from posting based on the offer for this role, including the scope and responsibilities of the position, relevant work experience, key skills, education, training and business considerations. 

New York Pay Range
$150,000$170,000 USD

The provided salary range is base salary, exclusive of bonus potential or commission and is a good faith estimate of cash compensation. ShopMy is flexible pending candidate's experience and how our business needs evolve throughout the search. Every employee of ShopMy receives equity on top of cash compensation!
