Overview:
Mastercard Move is empowering next generation of payments between people and businesses, whether money is moving domestically or across borders, by delivering the ability to pay and get paid with choice, transparency and flexibility. Cross-border Services is within the Mastercard Move product portfolio, focusing on delivering fast, transparent and seamless solutions and value-added services for customers to make payments to the world through one integration.
As part of scaling our business, we look towards customer success to drive higher volume and promote stickiness. For most of these situations, we need a seasoned product manager with the ability to use cross-border payments subject matter expertise, functional knowledge, technical nous and broader end-to-end view of the deployed solution that may or may not be customized by our customer during implementation. Issue logging/tracking and developing solutions to overcome frictional elements that are raised by our clients in a timely manner is extremely relevant.
As Manager, Product Manager for Cross Border Services, you will be responsible to work with implementation/solution architects, customer configuration teams, network product managers, operational and customer support teams, technical product management, and software engineering teams to offer solutions to ensure customer success and support client facing teams who are front line liaisons towards the customer.
This position is responsible for supporting the execution of the Mastercard Cross-Border Services Product Management roles and responsibilities. This role works in conjunction with other teams/requestors to draft the business requirements for product development and complete all product and project readiness activities required to commercialize new features and functionalities.
Effective stakeholder management, efficient governance and tracking of issues, progress reporting and good communications are key success criteria.
Job Role Includes:• Act as a SME for all aspects of the product, leading and training internal stakeholders and regional partners on how the products works and why.• Articulate and quantify market problems as well as customer issues and help define opportunities leveraging our inherent capabilities and competence.• Analyze new product enhancement initiatives and define the product requirements.• Provide thought leadership to create a compelling product vision for new Cross-Border offerings with enhanced capabilities and business value. • Use Aha Road mapping tool to build product roadmap, prioritize and report on the Product Roadmap.• Partner with Product Owners to quantify and elaborate business requirements and ensure what is delivered meets the Product needs and requirements.• Adhere to the product development life cycle and include the Studio and P&E partnership principals to deliver all prioritized projects.
About You:
• An understanding of Cross-Border payment flow, SWIFT formats, User journeys, FX management and compliance is required.• Furthermore, deep knowledge of payment schemes and ecosystems (RTP, ACH, Wires for Domestic as well as cross border flows) is strongly desired• Must have excellent organization and product management skills.• Must be detail oriented and have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)• Must be self-motivated, self-driven and drive tasks and projects to completion. • Proven ability to build working relationships efficiently and effectively with many diverse groups, in many different time zones.• Proven experience building and delivering product enhancements.• Business Analysis and Problem Solving experience required.
