Manager, Product Management, Transfer Solutions
Mastercard Send is a flagship product within Mastercard's money movement portfolio, enabling secure, real-time domestic and cross-border payments. It supports a wide range of use cases including:
1) Person-to-person (P2P)
2) Business-to-business (B2B)
3) Disbursements
4) Remittances
5) Merchant payments
Send empowers businesses, governments, NGOs, financial institutions, fintechs, and digital platforms to transfer funds to consumers and small businesses-often within seconds.
This role offers a hands-on opportunity to drive the expansion of Mastercard Send across Asia Pacific, managing both strategic initiatives and day-to-day product operations.
Key Responsibilities• Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and manage the regional product roadmap, aligning with global strategy and market needs.• Market Expansion: Collaborate with country teams and subject matter experts to identify viable opportunities, develop go-to-market strategies, and launch new features and use cases.• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (e.g., engineering, operations, legal, compliance) to ensure successful product launches and resolve production issues.• Client Engagement: Work with client-facing teams to develop business cases, articulate product value, and support customer needs.• Performance Monitoring: Track and report key product metrics, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform strategy and decision-making.• Sales Enablement: Maintain and update sales collateral, training materials, pricing documentation, and other product assets.• Project Management: Oversee progress and reporting for ongoing initiatives, ensuring timely execution and stakeholder alignment.
Qualifications & Experience• Strong understanding of the faster payments and push payments ecosystem in Asia Pacific.• Proven experience in product management, ideally across multiple markets.• Experience in launching and scaling products, with a focus on both issuing and acquiring sides of the business.• Client-facing experience with the ability to translate customer needs into product opportunities.• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
