Manager, Product Management Transfer Solutions, Europe
Overview
Mastercard has a vision to build a leadership position as the only truly multi-rail payments technology company and Europe is at the forefront in defining and executing our multi-rail strategy.
Mastercard Send - a highly visible offering focused on payments to consumers, including domestic and cross-border P2P, and business/government disbursements - is a key pillar of this vision and top strategic priority for the New Payment Platforms Europe Regional team.
The role oversees all product management activities for Mastercard Send in Europe, while maintaining a constant alignment with the regional Send business development team to guarantee product's evolutions in line with European markets' needs.
Responsibilities include• Assess market landscape (assessing use cases, identifying key players, monitoring competition) and use this to inform product and go-to-market strategy• Develop/adapt to region and maintain all sales collateral around product (e.g. FSMs, MSM, etc..) and conduct internal/external product training• Work in close relationship with the regional business development team as well as local product teams to support sales opportunity and maintain constant alignment on Regional markets needs• Liaise and collaborate with Global team to ensure regional needs are taken into considerations (e.g introduction of new uses cases) and to support implementation and monitoring enforcement of global initiatives• Develop - with global and local account teams - plan to close TC28 enablement gaps • Support creation of top management presentation on status and opportunities/challenges for product in the region • Advocates for and champions MC SEND internally and in the external market • Manage Studio process for product launches/enhancements, liaising with all relevant functions involved
Experiences and other requirements• Outstanding data gathering, analysis and problem solving skills• Very strong written and verbal communication skills• Outstanding ability to work collaboratively and deliver results in a highly cross-functional environment• High self-motivation and ability to work autonomously; "can do" attitude; strong customer and results orientation.• Proven experience managing senior level relationship • Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus. • Knowledge of financial transfer industry and/or Mastercard Send is a plus• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification. Advanced degree or MBA preferred• Ability to travel 5-10%
