As a Manager, Product Development at ConductorOne, you’ll lead small, high-ownership engineering teams that build and ship the features driving our product forward. You’ll be accountable for execution, quality, and delivery — guiding teams from concept through production to create experiences that delight customers and advance the business. You’ll hire and develop exceptional engineers, foster a culture of autonomy and accountability, and ensure that your teams have the clarity, focus, and support needed to move fast and ship with confidence. Above all, you’ll be responsible for building the people, processes, and rhythm that make great product development happen.

• Lead and manage small, high-ownership engineering teams responsible for building and shipping product features that delight customers.

• Drive execution from concept to production, ensuring teams deliver high-quality, impactful features on schedule.

• Collaborate closely with Product and Design to define clear goals, balance trade-offs, and deliver seamless user experiences.

• Empower engineers to take end-to-end ownership of their services — from design through operation — fostering a culture of accountability, autonomy, and craftsmanship.

• Own hiring and team-building efforts to scale ConductorOne’s product development organization for long-term success.

• Shape the structure and composition of teams as the organization grows, ensuring clear ownership boundaries and effective collaboration.

• Establish lightweight, effective processes that enable fast iteration while maintaining product quality and reliability.

• Mentor engineers and tech leads, supporting their growth as technical leaders and product thinkers.

• You have proven experience managing product-focused engineering teams in a fast-moving environment.

• You have a track record of building, scaling, and retaining high-performing engineering teams.

• You excel at identifying and developing talent, and you take pride in building strong, cohesive team cultures.

• You have a history of delivering complex, high-impact features to production.

• You’re deeply customer-oriented and excel at translating product vision into clear, achievable engineering outcomes.

• You balance speed and quality, knowing when to move quickly and when to invest in maintainability.

• You have strong technical instincts and can make sound decisions without needing to be hands-on in the code.

• You thrive in a collaborative, high-growth environment where priorities evolve quickly and impact is tangible.
  

• You’ve led teams building SaaS or security-focused products.

• You have experience improving developer experience or delivery velocity through process and tooling improvements.

• You’ve scaled teams or systems while maintaining a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

• You’ve successfully built or reorganized teams to improve clarity, throughput, or alignment.

• You have experience balancing technical debt and feature delivery to sustain long-term product health.

• You’ve mentored emerging leaders or helped teams mature from execution-focused to product-driven.
