Role Overview:

As a Technical Project Leader, you'll combine your ingredient expertise, product and process knowledge, and strategic thinking to future proof our product portfolio. You'll drive results by collaborating across functions, mentoring talent, and ensuring technical excellence from concept to execution.
What You'll Do?:
- Lead and Execute Ingredient Driven Reformulation Projects: Plan and manage technically complex projects, ensuring rigor across the entire Idea-to-Market process.
- Shape the Future: Use your expertise to identify technical solutions, evaluate ingredients, recipes, and processes, and scale ideas from lab to production.
- Collaborate and Influence: Partner with cross-functional teams to co-create portfolio transformation roadmaps, align resources and budgets, and drive stakeholder decisions through compelling storytelling.
- Own Technical Excellence: Deliver consumer-centric solutions by leveraging advanced tools, mitigating risks, and solving challenges with agility and precision.
- Mentor and Inspire: Coach and develop talent to build a high-performing, innovative team.

Education / Certifications:
- MS/PhD in Food Science or Science related
Job specific requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience, preferably in the food industry and CPG companies
- Deep understanding of fats and oil and their applications of biscuit formulation/processes is a strong plus.
- Able to develop and drive technical projects with proper scientific rigor: link with appropriate expertise, build detailed hypothesis, conduct appropriate testing, gather, analyze data, and develop recommendations based on findings.
- Demonstrated project management skills to navigate complexity and drive clarity and focus is preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; able to effectively communicate to all levels within the organization
Travel requirements:
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, on average, with both domestic and international travel possible.
Work schedule:
- This is a full-time role based in East Hanover, NJ with in-office expectations of 2-3 days per week.
Salary and Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is $109,000 to $149,875; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results. In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time. Some of these benefits have eligibility requirements. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.
