Rapid7's Security Services organization is seeking a Senior Manager, Product Consulting to lead a high-impact team focused on delivering exceptional product consulting services. This role is pivotal in building and mentoring a talented team, defining best practices, and implementing Rapid7 solutions in complex enterprise environments to meet both technical and business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring a deep passion for security, innovation, and customer success.
You'll be responsible for delivering consulting services centered around Rapid7's suite of products and integrations, while developing scalable methodologies and contributing to the broader vision of the Services organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, grow, and manage a team of skilled security consultants and project managers.
- Develop and maintain delivery methodologies focused on consistent, high-quality customer outcomes.
- Expand the service portfolio by creating innovative offerings aligned with customer needs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with pre- and post-sales stakeholders to define success metrics and implementation plans.
- Architect and deliver creative, solution-oriented implementations in customer environments.
- Provide strategic guidance on security best practices in the context of Rapid7 technologies.
- Help customers mature their cybersecurity programs by advising on best practices and operational excellence.
- Serve as a thought leader within the Rapid7 Community and broader security industry.
- Develop and contribute to security architecture plans, particularly around vulnerability management processes and workflows.
- Partner with Customer Success Managers, Account Executives, and Sales Engineers to articulate the value of services and drive customer engagement.
- Support service opportunity tracking and assist in the identification of new business prospects.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field-or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in building, leading, and scaling high-performing technical teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and build strong internal partnerships that support customer success.
- A customer-first mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding service and value.
- Experience designing and launching new service offerings that directly support customer goals.
- Familiarity with major cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- In-depth knowledge of security best practices and frameworks across diverse technical environments.
