Raytheon Supply Chain has an excellent opportunity for a Procurement Professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. You will be a part of a high-level activity and collaborative environment as part of our Electronics Commodity Procurement team. The selected individual will be responsible for leading procurement efforts in support of multiple programs across the Raytheon portfolio. In this role, you will foster relationships with suppliers, administer subcontracts in a fashion consistent with integrated supply chain models, recognizing the role and value of each participant through the acquisition life cycle from requirements generation through product delivery, product support, and payment for products and services.  You will engage in supplier performance, relationship management, strategic sourcing as well as facilitate complex business agreements in support of the various contracts. 

What You Will Do:

  • Review drawings, specifications, and purchase history to determine sourcing strategy
  • Work with and review Statement of Work (SOW) documents
  • Prepare and issue Request for Quotations/ Proposals, Perform price and cost analysis and lead negotiation plans / strategies as well as address any exceptions to flow downs, specifications, quality notes, or Raytheon terms and condition requirements
  • Formally document purchase orders per internal procedures
  • Perform routine post-award management activities
  • Significant supplier interaction in collaboration with Program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Raytheon Customer and Commodity Performance Lead
  • Nurture professional business relationships with first tier subcontractors
  • ​Able to support travel (up to 10%)

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Relevant experience in procurement, supply chain management, management, finance, or similar leadreship role
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required. https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62"

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience in Government procurement
  • SAP/PRISM based environment experience
  • Experience in written contractual authorization/ vehicles (Cost Plus, Firm Fixed Price etc.) and experience assessing proposal compliance (FAR 15.4)
  • Price Cost Analysis experience
  • Experience with proposals from prospective suppliers and analyze cost/price, technical capability, and financial viability, conduct investigations to ensure ability to perform within cost and schedule
  • Demonstrated knowledge / compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)
  • Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware and services- including Statement of Work (SOW) review
  • Experience in leading formal negotiations (price, schedule, and supplier exceptions to contractual flow-down requirements, as well as standard Terms and Conditions)
  • Experience with supplier management
  • Ability to multi-task and perform effectively in a dynamic, fast paced, changing environment
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal internal customers.

This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
