Department Specific Job Details:
Remote position with intermittent onsite requirements
Education
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Associate degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Business Administration/Management or Nursing is preferred.
Experience Required
- 7 years of demonstrated, progressive experience in procurement/supply chain, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Advanced knowledge and experience in managing teams of 5-15 members, overseeing supply chain systems, and applying critical thinking.
- Advanced skill set to include strong professional written and verbal communication, working with group purchasing organizations, and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Well-versed in value analysis, root cause analysis, and the GEMBA mindset.
- Experience in contract negotiation, vendor management, and RFX functions.
- Skilled in decision support, team building, strategic planning, and being results-driven.
- 3 R’s: Resourceful, Resilient, and Relentless, with an ownership mindset throughout.
Preferred Experience
- CMRP certification
- 2 years supply chain supervisory or managerial experience.
- 10 years health care procurement experience.
- Experience working with a variety of systems and tools, including Health Care Supply Chain Systems, Workday Procurement, Workday Supply Chain, Stratajazz Capital Planning, Power BI, and Crucial Conversations.
