Reporting to the Director Procurement you will represent the Procurement function on the Supply Chain End-to-End teams. Be the voice of Procurement and communicate business initiative requirements and strategies to the EP organization. Ensure Procurement awareness/support for business needs on innovation, MVP, planning and sustainability.
You Will:
- Oversee procurement engagement in the new product introduction (NPI) process with primary responsibility for procurement resource engagement in Stages 1-4 of the NPI process.
- Communicate material P&L business translation and lead cost reduction (CCR) initiatives; create savings ideas; and plan implementation partnering with platforms and category managers – participate in MVP activities.
- Be a escalation point and partner with M&OP and buying groups to ensure all ingredients and package materials are available to support product introductions, renovations, and ongoing production requirements.
- Deliver critical input to influence sourcing and supplier selection/decisions to ensure alignment to business initiatives and sustainability.
- Communicate and coordinate between business, sustainability team and buying groups scope 3 sustainability targets and status/progress. Contribute to developing strategies to support end-to-end initiatives. Ensure priorities are clear and glide paths understood and aligned. Secure awareness and input on any external commitments and communications on materials sustainability. Point role for overall EP sustainability agenda.
- Guide the processes, procedures, and metrics required from the plants to have a valuable supplier scorecard that feeds into formalized supplier tracking and improvement plans.
- Foster positive, productive, and proactive relationships with several suppliers and operating company personnel.
You Have:
- 7+ years' experience in Procurement/Supply Chain preferably with a mix of technical and purchasing experience.
- Bachelor's degree required
- Strategic thinker able to get to the heart of issues without overly relying on massive amounts of information.
- Passionate change agent with experience driving supply chain improvement in complex, matrix organizations.
- Experience leading successful teams and projects (team development, planning, critical thinking, collaboration, team-based problem solving)
- Demonstrated strengths in relationship building, problem solving, and conflict management.
- MRP experience (SAP preferred).
- Prefer CPG experience with an understanding of economics, technical issues, and ability to perform independent value analysis and value engineering.
- Ability to leverage and maximize computer systems.

Compensation:
Pay Range:$104,000-$152,000
The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
