Job Responsibilities:
Summary:
The Manager, Procurement Business Processes, plays a pivotal role in shaping Magna's future procurement excellence. In this strategic leadership position, you will drive alignment across our Groups by defining, documenting, and publishing clear guidance from Business Leads and Subject Matter Experts. Your work establishes the foundation for standardized processes, strong governance, and a unified way of operating across our decentralized environment.
By connecting teams, creating cross-group synergies, and championing best-in-class process design, you will enable smarter decision-making, accelerate value delivery, and support our journey toward a common procurement toolset, trusted data, and consistent performance. This role is a key building block of our broader strategy. Empowering our organization to achieve ambitious business targets and elevate procurement's contribution to the bottom line.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Alignment, development, publishing, and maintenance of global procurement standards, playbook, Standard Operating Procedures, and requirements.
  • Ensure Business Lead and Subject Matter Expert input is structured, accessible, and aligned across Groups.
  • Adhere to structure and document processes, decision rights (RASIC), and methodologies, ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Scale processes to Groups by ensuring local procedures are updated to align with corporate standards.
  • Push process deliverables forward to stay on track with timelines set.
  • Support standardization of non-system related templates and ensure standard taxonomies are incorporated in all standardized processes; maintain and publish taxonomies and corporate documents as the official reference point.
  • Assist in structuring and maintain Supplier rating criteria and KPI's with Business Experts, ensuring documentation and governance standards are clear.
  • Maintain procurement related areas of Magna.com and MagNet as the single source of truth for published standards and documentation.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related discipline
  • 5+ years Purchasing experience.
  • Automotive industry background is a plus.
