Role - SCM Manager Procurement - Labour Category
Essential Job Functions:
- Sourcing and Procurement of services related to Manpower/ Labour category effficiently within the area of Agency Contracting, SOW based Labour and T&M Model engagements
- Well versed with Negotiation with different Labour Category Vendors and service providers on commercial terms and requirements closure.
- Taking care of all documentations related to purchase and responsible for Contracts. Should be well versed in negotiating & finalizing of contracts and SOWs including redlining, keeping in view India market and customer demands.
- Identification and sourcing of suitable vendors as well as negotiate . Vendor management and relationship analysis based on actual spend.
- Ability and experience in handling sub categories in Labour/ Manpower related services. Experience of handling the category for India and other countries will be added advantage.
- Thorough knowledge around different and Niche IT Skills that needs to be sourced either on Agency contractor or SOW model
- Able to collaborate and work with internal departments and internal stake holders. Good Intercommunications skills mandatory
- Conversant with Functional Knowledge of Procurement, including RFP/RFQs, Quote evaluations and comparatives, Vendor Selection, Vendor Ratings, Vendor Satisfaction including Payments as per agreed Payment terms. Working knowledge in Ariba for sourcing, e-auction.
- Develop & evaluate new vendors for smooth supply chain operations. Quarterly Review of supplier’s performance & consolidation of suppliers. Empanelment of vendors for annual rates contracts & agreement Vendor management and relationship analysis based on actual spend.
- Experience in preparation and analysis of various MIS report on monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Savings: Participate in the VC projects to contribute towards the overall SCM FY target and deliver.
- Supplier engagement - Supplier Selection, Supplier Performance Review, Cost Saving Strategies, Negotiations, develop a database of backup suppliers in different areas
- Identify opportunities to reduce/optimize costs by analysing spend and defining strategy to generate savings for DXC.
- Implementing process improvements by introducing and driving projects to improve workflow.
- Hosting Supplier Governance Calls addressing the Ongoing or upcoming Purchase requests, Invoicing, Age Debt, Services issues, etc.
- Spend analysis, Publishing Reporting & Dashboards
Skills Required:
• Enterprise level Procurement & Sourcing.
• Supplier Negotiation, contracting and Selection.
• Thorough knowledge around latest tools for sourcing, auction, etc.
• Strategic & Tactical Sourcing incl. supplier appraisal with end-to-end responsibility around SCM Process.
• Should have catered to India Market is the key for this role.
• Spend Management, Supplier Management & Forecasting.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically, 12+ years of relevant work experience in industry.
• Proven experience in supply chain management
• Proficiencies in vendor management, cost control, and procurement strategies
• A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
Other Qualifications:
• Advanced degree in a relevant field a plus
• Relevant certifications in procurement or supply chain a plus
