Title: Manager Process Engineering

Location: Indianapolis, IN.
Reports To: Plant Manager

Workplace Type: Onsite
Ingredion is hiring a Manager Process Engineering who oversees the engineering function at a Region or Country/Local level. Provides second level management to a group of engineering professionals and support staff. Primarily focused on setting goals and priorities for the engineering group. Allocates accountability among staff, manage the career development of others, liaise with professional staff and other managers, advise the business on technology related issues and engage in medium-term planning.
What you will do:

• Develop and manage a team of process engineers that supports the process units at the plant to achieve their safety, quality, production, and cost goals through technical guidance and process improvement activities.

• Technical expert at the plant who advises site leadership on process safety.

• Continually developing the technical skills of team members to enhance plant support.

• Coordinates technical training for team members and site operations to enhance capabilities.

• Guide team members to develop and implement capital and process improvement projects by understanding the financial impact to the business and uses data to drive the project execution.

• Ensure that team members and plant personnel follow global engineering standards. Connects team 

• members to the larger Ingredion technical network.

• Evaluate technological and process advances to drive plant operations improvements.

• Collaborate with site leadership to develop KPIs for unit operations performance, and between multiple units at the site to drive operational improvements.

• Provide technical leadership and resources as needed to process engineering managers at smaller plants within the segment.
   

Who you are:

• Degree or advanced degree in an engineering discipline or relevant experience, and typically 10 or more years of experience in process optimization, plant manufacturing and/or project execution. 

• Team leadership experience desired.

Pay Range:

This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).

Incentive Compensation:

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
