Overview
As Manager, Pricing Strategy & Excellence, within Customer Economics, you will sit at the core of Mastercard Europe's pricing strategy, playing a central role in ensuring that our pricing initiatives and strategy meet the highest standards.
You will work in an international environment, across European geographies and all products, coordinating a broad network of stakeholders to align pricing strategies and shape the frameworks behind them.
This is a high-visibility role that combines pricing standard awareness with strong coordination and influencing skills. You will bring structure and momentum to a cross-functional agenda, keeping teams aligned, deadlines on track, and leadership informed - with direct exposure to management and to teams right across the company.
Role
In this role you will:• Coordinate with Global and regional teams to help shape and maintain pricing frameworks and playbooks.• Act as the central coordination point across Customer Economics, Regulatory, Legal, Franchise, Global Pricing & Interchange, and the Product and Services pricing teams.• Influence and align stakeholders - turning complex regulatory requirements into clear, shared accountabilities across teams.• Monitor progress against milestones and deadlines, flag risks early, and drive issues to resolution.• Prepare and present concise updates and recommendations for senior management and governance forums.• Champion a culture of compliance and continuous improvement across the pricing community.

The ideal candidate:• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, able to align diverse teams around common goals• Excellent communicator, able to translate complex regulatory topics into clear actions for all audiences• Collaborative and comfortable leading through influence • Well organized, able to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines in parallel• Proactive, reliable, and accountable, with a bias for driving things to closure• 6+ years of experience in pricing, regulatory compliance, or project management, ideally within payments or financial services but not required.• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written). Additional languages is a plus.• Strong team player, hands-on, with a good sense of humour
