The Opportunity:

The Manager, Pricing and Product Profitability will  be responsible for supporting the development and execution of pricing strategies to ensure the profitability of both existing and new products. This role requires a solid understanding of financial modeling, with a focus on partnering with cross-functional teams to drive execution and support internal decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Pricing Strategy Support:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of pricing strategies for solar and home improvement loan products to meet business objectives and stay competitive in the market.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer needs to provide insights for pricing decisions.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and capital markets teams to ensure alignment between pricing strategies and business goals.

Product Profitability Monitoring:

  • Track and analyze the profitability of existing and new loan products to ensure financial targets are being met.
  • Maintain and update pricing models, including supporting the financial modeling and technology systems used to drive pricing decisions.
  • Partner with FP&A and other teams to identify opportunities for margin improvement through cost optimization and operational efficiencies.
  • Support in the preparation of APR and dealer fee forecasts for both short-term and long-term projections.

New Product Development:

  • Work with internal teams, including product development, to ensure new product launches are appropriately priced and positioned for success in the market.
  • Support regulatory and compliance teams to ensure pricing strategies meet legal requirements and internal standards.

Market and Financial Analysis:

  • Conduct research and analyze both internal and external market data to identify emerging trends and shifts.
  • Leverage data analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau) to inform pricing strategies and profitability assessments.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports to senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations based on market analysis and financial data.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with risk and capital markets teams to optimize risk-based pricing strategies and understand their impact on pricing.
  • Support treasury and other teams by providing insights into the liquidity implications of new products.

What you Bring to the Team:

  • 3-5 years of experience in financial product roles, capital markets, treasury, or in pricing, strategy, and analysis for consumer loans or fintech companies.
  • Strong ability to analyze markets and competitors, and apply data-driven insights to inform pricing decisions.
  • Experience working with financial modeling tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and data analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making within the organization.
  • Solid communication and presentation skills to communicate complex financial concepts to senior leaders.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in the solar or home improvement industry, either as a contractor, distributor, finance provider, or SaaS company.

Compensation: The base salary range for this position is $105,000-135,000. The position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. In addition, we’re proud to offer a range of competitive benefits.
