The purpose of this role is to manage and lead the organizations Product Pricing and Portfolio Valuation Analysis activities. This includes collaborating with Sales and Credit team members to develop loan program annual percentage rates (APRs), dealer costs, loan terms, payment factors and offerings for promotional lending products.  This role will understand developing the required rate of returns for lending programs using assumptions derived from market securitizations and whole loan sale valuations. This role will follow the pricing of loans into the execution of structured transactions to support the funding needs of the organization. They will interact with the Treasury team to support Aqua’s structured finance activities.

They will coordinate the review of loan interest rate offerings and present the supporting calculations and assumptions to Sales leadership. They will manage the Data Analytics Pricing Analyst team’s priorities, mentor team members and work with stakeholders throughout the organization to plan, analyze, prepare, complete and present Pricing Analysis activities. They will analyze and forecast financial, economic and other data related to Pricing to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions.

Essential Functions

  • Coordinates and manages the Pricing process across Aqua Sales & Marketing team product sectors, Treasury and Credit Strategy team

  • Manages, reviews, mentors team members and supervises the Data Analytics Pricing Analyst priorities and workload

  • Completes, verifies and analyzes financial information to provide accurate and timely information for making financial decisions related to Pricing and Valuations

  • Reviews data, information and reports for accuracy and thoroughness

  • Prepares detailed pricing on a regular basis for product sectors, dealers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs)

  • Performs Pricing, loan performance and loan production variance analysis of budget, forecast and actual financial performance, including interpreting and documenting variance drivers, and identifies areas of concern and opportunity

  • Reviews dealer loan pricing and program performance to make recommendations of action steps to improve targeted business mix and profit thresholds

  • Reviews industry trends and activities, comparing Aqua pricing to comparative markets and provides observations and recommendations on a regular basis

  • Leads and participates in various pricing projects providing technical management, research, and collaboration with multiple resources to address specific finance related needs

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Actuarial Science or technical discipline, or commensurate work experience required

  • 8 years of technical related experience is required

  • 5 years of financial industry experience required

  • 5 years of people management experience required

  • Model and valuation experience preferred

  • Ability to use or learn reporting analytic tools such as SQL language and/or Power BI

  • Periodic after core hours, night and weekend work maybe required and expected to achieve deadlines

  • Attention to detail and accuracy required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

  • Proficient in the utilization of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, visualize, talk, hear, and handle or touch objects or controls. The employee may occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 20 pounds.

This position is an office-based position where you must be able to sit for long periods of time. The employee will be working on a computer 90% of the time.
