Summary:

In this role, you will lead the daily operations of a team responsible for resolving pricing discrepancies, supporting Non-Acute Procurement clients in achieving contract price accuracy and operational efficiency. You will manage staff performance and development, partner with suppliers and internal teams to resolve invoice issues, and drive continuous process improvements through data analysis, system feedback, and stakeholder engagement. You will ensure timely delivery, promotes education around Price Discrepancy Resolution (PDR) tools and workflows, and contributes to initiatives that support greater contract utilization and client satisfaction. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the PDR analyst team, ensuring effective and timely discrepancy resolution.

  • Develop and maintain close relationships with dozens of clients, suppliers, and dependent departments within Vizient at all levels; leverage these relationships to maintain high client satisfaction levels.

  • Supervise and develop analysts, providing coaching, performance feedback, and growth opportunities.

  • Define, track and report on key operational metrics related to pricing discrepancies and recovery.

  • Serve as an escalation point for complex client or supplier issues.

  • Collaborate with suppliers to secure credits, refunds, and overpayment resolutions.

  • Partner with internal teams (e.g., Procurement, Contracting) to address pricing misalignments.

  • Identify process improvement opportunities and lead workflow optimizations to increase staff productivity and efficiency.

  • Coordinate with Product and IT teams to report system issues and request enhancements.

  • Educate clients and internal stakeholders on PDR tools, reports, and workflows to improve self-service.

  • Support departmental goals related to contract penetration, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

      Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 2 or more years of relevant experience required.

  • Experience in a team leadership or supervisory role strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Envi, PeopleSoft, Lawson), GPO structure, contract pricing, and tiered pricing models is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead operational teams and drive performance through metrics and process refinement.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SQL or Access is a plus.

  • Strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $68,500.00 to $116,300.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
