Reporting to the Plant Manager at our Rensselaer, Indiana manufacturing facility, you will play a key role in strengthening plant performance by expanding the capabilities of the Conagra Performance System. You will partner closely with plant leadership to identify improvement opportunities, eliminate losses, and reduce non‑value‑added activities while building long‑term organizational capability. Through hands‑on coaching and disciplined execution, you will support a plant of approximately 230 hourly and salaried team members as they drive sustainable, data‑based continuous improvement.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted coach and subject matter expert to site leaders across all Conagra Performance System pillars
• Own and advance multiple Conagra Performance System pillars, including Focused Improvement, Continuous Skills Development, and Autonomous Manufacturing Development
• Partner with cross‑functional teams across the site to plan, execute, and sustain continuous improvement initiatives
• Guide teams in analyzing performance data, prioritizing improvement opportunities, applying structured problem‑solving tools, and implementing systemic, scalable solutions
• Lead the execution of improvement projects designed to deliver key performance indicators and operational results
• Reinforce Conagra Performance System concepts through daily coaching, mentoring, and auditing activities
• Support technological advancement by promoting the effective use and continuous enhancement of digital tools
• Collaborate with enterprise and plant‑level Continuous Improvement leaders to strengthen standards, share best practices, and reapply proven learnings

Ingredients Required for Your Success

• Bachelor’s degree
• Five or more years of manufacturing operations experience
• Five or more years of experience with continuous improvement systems, including total productive maintenance, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma
• Experience in a supervisory or management role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power Business Intelligence, Power Apps, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Technical knowledge and understanding of manufacturing systems and equipment
• Demonstrated influential leadership and effective communication skills
• Skilled at developing short‑term and long‑term plans for both strategic and tactical execution

Physical Requirements

More information about essential tasks and the facility will be shared during the hiring process. This role may require you to be in our manufacturing facilities. When visiting these sites, the physical requirements below may apply:
You may be required to walk around the facility, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination.
You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size.
This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment. Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.

Compensation 

Pay Range:$81,000-$118,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
