Job Summary

Reporting to the Plant Manager at our St. Elmo, Illinois manufacturing facility, local producers of Wish Bone, Log Cabin, Mrs. Butterworth, Open Pit and more, you will support plant operations by expanding the capabilities of the Conagra Performance System (CPS) to ensure delivery of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by identifying and prioritizing loss opportunities. You will lead the execution of processes to eliminate losses while developing strategies to improve organizational growth by reducing non-value-added activities and advancing a culture of continuous improvement. Working together with plant leadership, you will lead a plant of 240 hourly and salaried team members in continuous improvement activities. 

Position Responsibilities 

  • Provide coaching and subject matter expertise to site leaders of all CPS Pillars 
  • Own multiple CPS Pillars, including Focused Improvement (FI), Continuous Skills Development (CSD), and Autonomous Manufacturing Development (AMD) 
  • Collaborate with other functions within the site to drive continuous improvement activities and results in all areas of the plant 
  • Coach teams to analyze data, prioritize projects, use problem solving tools, and implement systemic solutions 
  • Lead the execution of projects to deliver Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) 
  • Promote critical CPS concepts every day through coaching and auditing throughout all areas of the plant 
  • Foster a culture of technological transformation through the use and improvement of digital tools 
  • Engage with Continuous Improvement leaders at enterprise and plant levels to improve standards, share best practices, and reapply key learnings 

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Required 
  • 5+ years manufacturing experience 
  • 5+ years experience in TPM-based continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and related process improvement systems 
  • 5+ years of management experience 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications (PowerBI, PowerApps, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of manufacturing systems and equipment 
  • Demonstration of influential leadership and effective communication skills 
  • Ability to develop short and long-term plans for strategic vision and tactical

Compensation: 

Pay Range:$81,000-$118,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
