In this role, you will
- Lead and inspire a team of engineers, and develop their careers by identifying opportunities and delivering impactful results.
- Architect and develop tooling for data mining, data labeling, and quality control such that other AI teams can leverage high-quality data to train and evaluate their models.
- Define the product roadmap that meets the needs of 10+ ML teams and collaborate with other infrastructure teams to share milestones and enhance pipeline efficiency.
- Scale operations across hundreds of human labelers to fulfill data needs across AI, hardware, and data science teams.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in ML data products to continuously innovate the data-driven ML development process.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of engineering experience in full-stack application development.
- 2+ years of engineering management experience that demonstrated the ability to develop people and build a strong team
- Experience designing and building modern data-intensive web applications such as data warehouses, data processing tools, or data visualization tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and support other teams.
- Fluency in Python.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with AWS, especially EC2, S3, RDS
- Experience with Databricks and Spark
- Experience with Data Pipelines and orchestrators such as Airflow
- Experience in ML-related development or the autonomous driving industry.
