Purpose of the Role
As a trusted partner to senior business leaders, you will drive organisational performance, build high-performing teams, and deliver people strategies that enable business growth and transformation.
Working closely with leaders across the organisation, you will provide strategic and operational HR expertise across talent management, organisational effectiveness, employee engagement, change management, workforce planning, and employee relations. You will play a key role in shaping the employee experience and ensuring people initiatives are aligned to both local business priorities and broader enterprise objectives.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Director, People Business Partner, you will support leaders and employees across one of our Polish entities, delivering people solutions that drive business outcomes and strengthen organisational capability.
This role offers a unique opportunity to influence senior stakeholders, lead organisational change, and partner across regional and global People & Capability teams to implement strategic people initiatives while ensuring compliance with local employment legislation and market practices.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnership• Partner with senior leaders and people managers to develop and execute people strategies that support business objectives, organisational effectiveness, and long-term growth.• Build trusted relationships with leaders, providing coaching and guidance on organisational design, workforce planning, talent management, leadership development, and employee engagement.• Use people insights, workforce data, and business trends to inform decision-making and identify opportunities to enhance organisational performance.
Talent and Organisational Effectiveness• Lead and support talent management processes, including talent reviews, succession planning, performance management, and career development initiatives.• Partner with Talent Acquisition to attract, hire, onboard, and retain high-quality talent.• Support leaders in identifying critical capabilities and developing plans to build talent pipelines and leadership strength.
Change and Transformation• Partner with business leaders to successfully plan and implement organisational change initiatives.• Act as a change champion, helping leaders and employees navigate change while maintaining engagement and productivity.• Collaborate with regional and global colleagues to ensure consistency and alignment across people initiatives.
Employee Relations and Risk Management• Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes.• Support the practical application of workplace policies and procedures, including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, restructuring activities, and redeployments.• Maintain strong knowledge of Polish labour legislation and employment practices to effectively manage risk and compliance.
Programme Delivery and Collaboration• Lead the successful implementation of core People & Capability programmes, including annual performance, talent, and compensation cycles.• Partner with local, regional, and global stakeholders to design and deliver people initiatives that support business priorities.• Contribute to broader market and functional projects, including employee experience, wellbeing, learning and development, organisational effectiveness, and culture initiatives.• Continuously build HR expertise and business knowledge through internal collaboration, training, networking, and external market awareness.
Experience
Minimum Requirements• Experience in an HR Business Partner role supporting leaders within a dynamic, fast-paced, and evolving organisation.• Proven track record of delivering business-focused people solutions and influencing organisational outcomes.• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and managing complex employee relations matters.• Demonstrated success supporting organisational change, transformation, or business growth initiatives.• Fluent in both Polish and English, written and spoken.• Strong knowledge of Polish labour law and employment practices.
