Ingredion is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations across the U.S. and Canada, supporting more than 5,000 employees across 10+ pay groups in a dynamic and growing organization.

In this highly visible role, you'll do more than manage payroll. You'll serve as a strategic partner to senior leaders, helping ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll operations while championing automation, process improvements, and best practices. You will collaborate closely with teams across Total Rewards, Corporate Accounting, Finance, and Audit, and provide meaningful insights to executive leadership.

We're looking for a hands-on leader with deep expertise in U.S. multi-state and Canadian payroll regulations, taxation, and payroll accounting. The ideal candidate combines technical excellence with a customer-first mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex payroll data into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders at all levels.

If you're passionate about delivering exceptional employee experiences, strengthening controls and compliance, and shaping the future of payroll operations through innovation, we'd love to hear from you.

Why you'll make an impact:

  • Lead payroll operations for a large, complex U.S. and Canadian workforce.
  • Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with senior leaders and executive stakeholders across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance, accuracy, and strong payroll controls.
  • Influence and support key business decisions through data-driven insights.

What You'll Bring:

We're looking for a collaborative and forward-thinking payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional results.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of payroll experience, including complex U.S. and Canadian payroll environments.

What Sets You Apart

  • A collaborative mindset and proven ability to build strong relationships across diverse teams and functions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize competing demands and manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism when handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven, with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.
  • Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a global, evolving organization.

You'll be successful in this role if you're an organized, proactive leader who combines payroll expertise with strong business acumen, a customer-focused mindset, and a passion for driving operational excellence.
