Medha better prepares youth for life after school. Our combination of 21st-Century skills training, career counselling, and alumni support propel young people on career paths of their choice. Since 2011, we have improved workplace engagement, income growth, and female workforce participation for 85,000 students across more than 400 educational institutions. For the last ten years, Medha has delivered a unique experiential learning program to young people in the ‘Hindi-belt.’
Constantly upgraded and enhanced, the program has evolved significantly over the last decade, along with changing student and market demands. As we look to the future of learning and work, we are doubling down on the program's transformative impact on young people’s lives.
What you will do:
This position will involve a mix of:
- Building a Pipeline- Networking and meeting new and potential funders to build a strong pipeline.
- Diversifying Funding Sources- Identify and strengthen alternative sources of funding like retail/individual giving.
- Managing Partnerships- Manage the lifecycle starting from initiating contact to proposal writing, due-diligence, agreement negotiation, and ongoing reporting and renewal.
- Improving Engagement- Increase engagement with new and existing partners to drive additional value for both parties.
What your day might look like:
- You are pitching Medha's core program to a potential partner/funder.
- You are working on writing a proposal/building a pitch deck for a potential partner/funder.
- You are communicating with the field team to understand the progress and challenges related to a particular project.
- You have a monthly reporting call scheduled with a partner/funder allocated to you to share project related updates.
- You are working on an application for an award/competition in the livelihoods space.
- You are coordinating with a current partner/funder to organize a field visit.
