Job Description
The Manager, Corrugate Packaging Procurement will report into the Group Lead, Paper NA Procurement and interact closely with the cross-functional teams.
Job Purpose
As the Manager, Packaging - Corrugate, you will lead all strategic planning and sourcing activities for the corrugate packaging category, which has a total spend of ~$250MM across the Kraft Heinz NA enterprise. You will drive program compliance and create value through Supplier and Contract Management. You will collaborate closely across the business with various Business Units, R&D, Operations, and corporate functions to provide innovative solutions to meet business objectives.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing and Category Planning. Refresh and execute sourcing strategies of Corrugate packaging to include overall market, industry and supply base analysis, category and supplier segmentation, sourcing activity facilitation, analysis, negotiations, contracting and implementation.
- The category is locally managed so you own all aspects of strategy creation!
- Project Management. Engages in productivity, cash flow and innovation projects impacting corrugate that may be driven by procurement, the Business Unit or another functional area with a focus on overall Total Cost of Ownership.
- Supplier Integration/Supplier Relationship Management (SRM). Works closely with key preferred and integrated suppliers for respective category areas. This may include active participation in E2E opportunity assessment work for targeted integrated suppliers, and subsequent project work that may result in areas of innovation, process improvement or cash flow.
- Buying Oversight & Transactional Category Activities. Manages transactional activities for identified categories to include entry and management of projects into PNOW, track supplier performance to defined KPIs, prepare communication slides to cross functional partners, peers and leaders.
- Financial Planning and Analysis. Prepares market forecasts and financial plans for respective category areas.

Key Experiences
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
- 3+ years' experience in Procurement and/or general supply chain within a large matrixed organization, CPG preferred. Must have experience in strategic sourcing, negotiating, and contracting.

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$102,100.00 - $127,600.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
