Location/Division Specific Information

Reporting to the Senior Manager, North America Ops Finance, the Manager, Operations Finance for the Tewksbury, MA site is a key leader responsible for the financial management of the site. This position will directly support the Site Operations Leaders and work closely with the Business Unit Leaders.

Lead all aspects of the site finance function with a focus on delivering differentiated business performance through partnerships with Finance, Operations, and Business Unit leadership. This role demands strong technical acumen, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver differentiated financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead all aspects of site direct cost of sales, other cost of sales, and inventory management processes including the alignment across business units / operations teams. Establish efficient and effective processes and measure what matters in a way that provides appropriate real-time insights.
  • Drive robust, standardized, and transparent financial reporting to key site level metrics to ensure sound manufacturing execution and behaviors are applied by the plant operating teams.
  • Lead discussions on performance of the Operations function and drive recommendations and influencing outcomes to achieve common goals.
  • Develop robust process and scorecards to effectively prioritize and provide visibility to savings, investments, and overall ROI achievement of all Operations initiatives.
  • Support effective inventory management contributing to a strong cash performance for the division and reducing scrap and E&O exposure globally.
  • Ensure compliance and controllership discipline is applied through all aspects of operations decisions, following policies and US GAAP.
  • Oversee development of annual budget and periodic forecast requirements for the site ensuring alignment of volume assumptions to commercial forecasts through the SIOP process.
  • Identify business risks and mitigating opportunities during the quarter to enable the delivery of financial targets in the annual operating plan (AOP) or appropriate forecast.
  • Oversee the site Operations functions budgets, ensuring funds are effectively deployed and structure is applied to headcount management, reserves, and indirect costs.
  • Develop capacity, resource, and material plans and initiatives to support short and long-term growth expectations while driving margin expansion for the business.
  • Lead processes to align operating plans down to the lowest level required driving accountability at the point of impact and ensuring there is alignment at all levels of the organization to deliver on financial objectives.
  • Apply a continuous improvement mindset with the ability to embrace outside/in thinking that advances the organization’s finance agenda.
  • Act as a trusted business partner to the Site Operations Leader and create an environment to both challenge and support operations and business leaders with sound financial guidance and strategic insights.
  • Deliver actionable insights to drive execution of output requirements, on-time delivery commitments, and product quality targets.
  • Provide strategic financial partnership and direction to the operations team optimizing profit margin for the business units including design for manufacturability, complexity reduction, sourcing, productivity, overhead cost management, inventory risk management, and capital optimization.
  • Elevate site finance function by driving empowerment and accountability at the lowest level of the operations team organization. Support the development and implementation of best-in-class transformational manufacturing strategies in support of customer needs, partnering with other key functions to ensure their success.
Keys to Success:Education
  • An undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is required; MBA or CPA desired.
Experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive finance experience with management experience inclusive of finance leadership roles and/or deep operations finance expertise.
  • Proven track record delivering exceptional results through a cross-functional team.
  • Strong manufacturing operations knowledge with proven experience partnering with Operations and supply chain leaders to drive cost & inventory optimization

  • Outstanding leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. Proven as an experienced, confident and mature manager and business partner
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrix environment

  • Strong systems and analytic capabilities including HFM, SAP, & Process Automation

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $103,100.00–$154,700.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:

Skills Required
