Iron Mountain is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager to join our Operational Excellence team.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading multi-site operational performance across all core service lines (DMS, RDS, DPS, and SDS), managing facility resourcing and OHSE compliance, driving continuous process improvements, and seamlessly integrating newly acquired business units into regional operations.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
- Drive Regional Operational Excellence: Direct daily operations across designated regional facility locations to achieve operational targets, manage site capacity, and maintain high service quality standards.
- Lead and Develop High-Performing Teams: Recruit, coach, and mentor a geographically dispersed team, fostering talent succession, clear goal setting, and strong productivity across all sites.
- Oversee Business Integration & Systems Compliance: Support operational due diligence for potential acquisitions and lead the seamless integration of new businesses, ensuring full adoption of SOPs and operating systems (ReQuest/O'Neil).
- Champion OHSE, Risk & Facility Management: Ensure all facility locations comply with Iron Mountain health, safety, environmental, and security standards, while managing customer audits and risk exposure.
- Execute Strategic Cost Control & Optimization: Manage headcount budgets, optimize resource allocation, oversee vendor/AMC contracts, and drive cost-reduction initiatives to maximize operational efficiency.
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
- 10+ years of progressive operational leadership experience, with a strong background in warehousing or logistics facility management.
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams and developing talent.
- Strong financial acumen with demonstrated experience managing cost centers, headcount budgets, and vendor contracts.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and IT fluency, with experience utilizing enterprise management systems (knowledge of ReQuest/O'Neil systems is highly regarded).
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships, engage with key customer accounts, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, logistics, operations management, or a related discipline are highly regarded.
