Job Summary
The sales operations teams within the Investment Only Stable Value team of The Standard is growing! We are looking for a Manager of Operations to oversee a team of 3 and implement process improvements to provide timely, accurate, and profitable customer service and contribute to the acquisition and retention of stable value clients. This position is responsible for developing and scaling new and in-force business processes and operations, refining existing operational processes, services and tracking, and providing support to partners as subject matter expert for process and operations. You will collaborate with and influences stakeholders, vendors and senior leaders to ensure strategic alignment and adherence to governance structure, and be responsible for managing the work environment, identifying workforce needs and ensuring alignment with manager expectations, values and vision.

Supervise operations team and activities, including fund set-up and management, contract generation, updates to platform agreements and responding to advisor, partner and client questions and requests.

Monitor, evaluate, and analyzes services which drive business growth and deliver a great customer experience.

Leads cross-departmental or cross-functional teams to align product and services objectives.

Skills and Background You’ll Need

At least 2 years of people management experience (from interviewing & hiring to performance management).

Project management background with experience being a project lead.

A background in process improvement initiatives.

Ability to work remotely is a requirement of the role.

EXPERIENCE: 10+ years overall experience in the insurance or financial services, preferably in the retirement plans industry or investment brokerage firm environment.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree.

Please note - the salary range for this role is listed below. In addition to salary, our package includes incentive plan participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits, as well as an initial PTO accrual of 164 hours per year. Employees also receive 11 paid holidays and 2 wellness days per year.

Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
Salary Range:
Compensation is made up of base salary and quarterly incentive compensation: $115k - $185k
