Conducts periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure that risk is mitigated and compliance procedures are followed. Conducts or directs the internal investigation of compliance issues. Assess product, compliance, or operational risk and develops risk management strategies, which includes the ICS business units.
Role is also responsible for developing and managing the comprehensive process for risk management and risk mitigation (assessing, identifying, monitoring and reducing pertinent Business and Information Security risk) to ensure the company's external business objectives and goals are met.
Risk and Compliance has responsibility to maintain strong internal control environment and ensure that the company is in full compliance with its internal controls policies, standard operating procedures, information security procedures and compliance with any external auditor, regulatory or contractual requirements.
