Job Summary
The Manager of NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) Partnership Solutions serves as the central liaison between BYU Corporate Sponsorships, student-athletes, agents, and corporate brands to develop, manage, and execute meaningful NIL partnerships. Working under the direction of the Senior Associate AD for Corporate Sponsorships, this position manages the day-to-day execution of corporate NIL activations while collaborating closely with the Senior Associate AD for NIL & Revenue Share, sport administrators, coaches, compliance, and external partners to ensure successful and compliant NIL opportunities.

What You’d Be Responsible For
Administer the full lifecycle of corporate NIL partnerships, including opportunity sourcing, contracting, clearinghouse/College Sports Commission approval, activation, fulfillment, relationship management, and student-athlete compensation coordination.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with student-athletes, agents, internal stakeholders, and brand partners, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring flawless execution.
Assist in developing and implementing annual NIL partnership strategies across all sports by identifying partnership opportunities, defining investment, recommending brand-partner portfolios, and the resources required to deliver.
Collaborate with the Corporate Sponsor sales team to develop, pitch, and execute integrated sponsorship packages that include NIL opportunities + multimedia rights (MMR) deals to prospective and existing partners.
Coordinate internally with the Corporate Sponsorship team and other internal departments to ensure NIL deliverables are integrated into sponsorship and/or NIL agreements and executed according to contractual commitments.
Educating student-athletes, agents, and corporate partners regarding NIL partnership processes, expectations, timelines, and applicable policies including NCAA and clearinghouse or College Sports Commission (CSC) requirements.
What Qualifies You to Apply?
Required:
6 years of applicable work experience in Sports or Sales/Fulfillment (or an equivalent combination of education/experience)
Willingness to uphold and live by the university's Honor Code
All new employees who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be required to hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend, which may be verified during the application process.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Work experience in a sports environment or sales/fulfillment position that required negotiation, and customer activation
Proven track record of managing complex projects involving multi-party stakeholder relationships
Experience designing data-driven strategic plans or managing business portfolios that scale across multiple distinct divisions

Typical Starting Pay: Depends on Experience
The actual compensation offered will take into consideration internal equity and may vary based on the candidate’s job-related experience, knowledge, skills, and other relevant factors. Candidates with very significant work-related experience may receive an offer higher than the posted typical range.
