ImpactAs a Network Planning located in Minneapolis, MN, or remotely you will be responsible responsible for providing insights, leading strategy and optimization-based initiatives to build an agile next generation delivery network for Shipt. The team member will need to use network design skills, Operational research methodologies, statistical knowledge, simulation and modeling techniques while collaborating with data science, product management, finance, marketing and operation partners to transform Shipt’s future.
While no two days are the same you, will drive program strategy & performance towards increasing the overall efficiency of Shipt’s Shop-&-Deliver and Delivery-Only services. Work with operations and technology partners to analyze opportunities, quantify scope for improvement and define core areas of focus to improve member experience and cost to fulfill digital orders in Shipt’s delivery network. Develop KPI reporting, identify improvement opportunities and monitor overall program performance. Use mathematical modeling, simulation and statistical approaches to clearly define problems, build solutions and recommend next steps. Drive continuous improvement by identifying areas of sub-optimal performance, recommending mitigating actions, and then tracking progress. Build and deliver robust feedback loops from field teams to efficiently resolve issues. Build new capabilities and experiences, utilizing data driven decision making and sound business judgement to propose long term solution and execute them from onset to entire network level expansion. Manage prioritization and trade-offs with customer experience, performance, operational support load and SLAs.
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
What makes you successful
- Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, operational research or a related field with strong analytical focus: MBA or Business Master’s degree
- 2+ years of experience in strategy, operations, logistics, fulfillment, or other relative experience.
- 3+ years of Retail and/or consumer-focused e-commerce environment.
- A track record of managerial leadership, expertise and mentorship in growing & developing high-functioning teams.
- Possess strong business acumen and analytical mindset with the ability to identify metrics and data to back up your strategy, programs, and ideas. Tableau, Python, SQL proficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Arrangement
Shipt considers candidates located near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to be hybrid, which means that they have the flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at a Shipt office in order to facilitate the ability to innovate, collaborate, and spark team connections. In-office expectations will vary by role and leader. Certain roles may require in-office presence on a full-time basis. Other compensation includes eligibility for an annual bonus and the potential for restricted stock units based on role.

Metro Areas of Boston, District of Columbia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and New York City:
$110,421-$220,842
All other locations:
$92,036-$184,071
Please note that the salary range above is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
