Primary Duties:
- Support negotiations for network participation agreements with payer partners, including new agreements, renewals, and amendments
- Manage the full lifecycle of network participation agreements, including tracking deliverables, ensuring compliance with terms, and managing document repositories
- Support senior contracting leadership by compiling data, performing rate analyses, tracking and reporting on key contract metrics, and interfacing with internal teams to execute network participation agreements
Minimum Qualifications:
- 8+ years in healthcare with health plans or providers
- Bachelor’s degree
Preferred KSA's:
- Master’s degree in related field and 6+ years in network contracting or development with health plans or providers
- Understanding of the health plan contracting process from initial conversations through contract signing and launch
- Strong understanding of the health plan network participation agreement contracting process from initial conversations through contract signing and implementation
- Proven track record of creating, maintaining, and enhancing customer relationships and communicating effectively with external parties
- Results-oriented with the ability to balance a wide variety of responsibilities and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong project and process management skills
- Passionate about ensuring providers are fairly reimbursed for the care they deliver
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting for prolonged periods of time. Extensive use of computers and keyboard. Occasional walking and lifting may be required.
